Binky is GONE

The past month we had been talking to Chase about how "big boys" don't use Binky's and babies do and asking him if he wanted to "give" baby Cody his Binky. At first he wasn't into the idea but eventually he was very into it. Last Monday he said he wanted to take a nap with out his Binky. He tried and it did not work! Tuesday he said he wanted to try again...it took him an hour and a half of talking to his stuffed animals to fall asleep but he did! He has not asked for it since!!!!! The only difference I see is that it takes him a little longer to fall asleep and he wants me to tell him a story and sing him a couple songs but that is it. On Wednesday after a few successful sleeps Chase and I wrote a note to Cody and mailed the Binky. I read the note out as I wrote it out and then I let him sign it. Then, he put it in the bag with the binky and we dropped it in the mail box.
I am SO PROUD of Chase!!
